How to get to DFA from PRC, Makati.

-LRT/Buendia jeep

-MOA jeep

-DFA jeep

Requirements:

-set an appointment http://dfa.gov.ph/main/

-should be 30mins before your scheduled time. you wouldn't know if you can enter the building

Steps

1. requirements verification

-there are no computer shops available the area, i suggest you should have your appointment/application form printed.

-there are xerox machine around the area (PHP3/page)

-pen should not be sign pen. they definitely have pens for sale (PHP10)

2. pay for the processing fee

PHP 1200 (2weeks)

PHP 950 (4weeks)

3. photoshoot

-you have to be ready with things you can burn your time (in my case, i watched friends on my touch)

-this took me about 2 hours

4. if you want to have your passport deliver, it will cost you PHP120 and it will be a day after your passport is released.

2012 February Boracay Outing

How to get to Boracay from Kalibo Airport.

-in the baggage claiming area in Kalibo airport, there are desk where you can pay for your land trip (approx 2 hours) to jetty port.

-in jetty port, you have to pay terminal fee (PHP 75) and Environment fee (PHP 50)

-boat ride (approx 10mins) is php25

-when you get to the pier, take a blue tryc ride to your hotel (PHP25-40)

*make sure which station your hotel is since there's alot of hotels in the area.

Landmark: Willy's Rock, Station 1

-you should have a picture with this rock since this is the "symbol" of boracay.

Don't you forget how their pure sand is :)

2012 January Baler Outing

Went to Baler by riding the Joybus.

cost: 600/1way

Notes: 1. call joybus first (7090545 / 4416834) and book for your preferred date

2. they will ask you to deposit the whole amount on their bank account

3. call back joybus after you made the deposit for them to verify your payment.

-terminal is at genesis cubao

-departure: 12AM

-travel hours: 4.5hrs

-bus has its own restroom / wife / snacks / blanket
