Convert to BDO installment payment

I will be visiting my sister in California for the following days.  As we all know, Apple products sell a lot cheaper there than in the Philippines.  Also, in Manila, we are fond of installment payment terms and I thought of this when I want to buy macbook air.  As per checking with BDO customer service, told me that there are things that are not allowed to be converted and these are the following.

Grocery Purchases
Gasoline Purchases
Drug Stores
