Plug in, not charging (windows7)

Everytime we use the laptop at home, we make sure that the battery is not plugged in so it won't overcharge. Last night was different, there was lighting strike and the electricity flickered so we decided to put back the battery so the laptop will be safe.

As time pass by, i noticed that it say 96% available NOT charging...i freaked out a little bit and decided to look for solution online. So here's how to deal with it.

1.shutdown the laptop
2.boot with only battery plug in
3.after booting up, then plug in the outlet

This worked for us, i hope to you guys too.

BPI Mobile Internet in iPhone

As an iphone user, I always check on application that needs update. These updates might take time in downloading (well, it depends on your connection too) but I always believe in the developer that this is for good.

As I check the list of what needs to an update, BPI app is one of them. After I updated the said app, I tried logging in and i was getting an error. So I decided to reinstall it instead. So here is the process.

1. Initially, this is the first you will see.

2. How to check the Activation code.
a. Log into www.bpiexpressonline.com
b. Other Service tab > Express Mobile Maintenance > Mobile Banking > Send New Link.

3. You will receive a message with the link. You have to visit the link to get the 6-digit activation code. below is a sample text message.

4. Just copy the activation code and input your user ID (which is the same when you log in online). You should be good to go.

Unable to change file extension

Since we have a new computer, I would have to sync my iphone to this new computer. By doing so, all the ringtones I made were gone. As I do my usual process in creating a ringtone, I was stop by the part where I have to change the extension. So here is the process on how to change the file extension of a file in windows 7.

1. open "control panel"
2. Click on "folder option"
3. Choose "view" tab.
4. Uncheck "hide extensions for known files"

Bike Parking in Glorietta

As me and my boyfriend was paying for our parking fee in Glorietta, we saw these line of bikes. Since we were deciding in buying one, we were thinking of where we can go. Back to my topic, you don't need to pay anything when you park your bike in Glorietta parking lot.

As of this idea, we can go to the malls soon with our bike...yeay! we can actually save cash on gas and at the same time, we can have our biking exercise! With this, I guess we have to carry our own pad lock for our bike when we park :)

Create Playlist in iTunes in Iphone

Lessons learned today...

How to create a playlist in iTunes for Iphone.

As I right click to create a playlist, I don't see "New Playlist" like I used to in my old computer.

I then decided to search around and decided to choose "sync my iphone"

Tada!!! I was able to create a playlist in my iphone.

Wow, Apple products are really personalized!

How to create mp3 as a ringtone in iphone

1. Right click on your chosen mp3 song in itunes.
2. Choose Get info
3. In Options tab, put check mark beside start time and stop time. Make sure stop time is 0:30 then click on ok.
4. Right click again on the song and choose create AAC.
5. Drag the 30 seconds song on your desktop
6. Edit the song that you dragged to .m4r
7. Double click to play the newly edited song
8. You should see the edited song in itunes in tones folder.
9. move the song to your iphone in itunes.
